Academic Support

At CSW, we view academic support as a means for students to reach their highest potential in the classroom and beyond. All students here have access to resources, tools, and programming strategically designed to cater to a broad range of goals. Whether they seek to address content-specific questions, develop strategies for managing a particular learning challenge, or simply improve their learning and study habits, our faculty is here to help.

Skills Center

CSW’s Skills Center offers academic classes designed to address executive function skills such as planning and prioritizing, task initiation, sustained attention, working memory, and self advocacy. Students also learn to apply academic skills like active reading, expository writing, class participation, note taking, and oral presentation.

One-on-One Faculty Support

Hour-long daily lunches and regular faculty office hours every day from 2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m. make it easy for students to schedule one-on-one appointments or drop in with teachers to check in, ask questions, and review academic coursework.

The Cambridge School of Weston is a progressive high school for day and boarding students in grades 9–12 and PG. CSW's mission is to provide a progressive education that emphasizes deep learning, meaningful relationships, and a dynamic program that inspires students to discover who they are and what their contribution is to their school, their community and the world.
