Active, participatory learning is central to the CSW experience. In each department, students learn through debate, hands-on experiences, experiments in laboratory-like settings, service-based learning, studio work and rehearsals, and off-campus research.

Each department strives to give students a solid academic foundation for college—and for life—by encouraging deep-subject matter knowledge beyond rote memorization and helping them develop high-level critical thinking and analytical skills. Visit individual department pages to learn more about each discipline and see the hundreds of courses we currently offer at CSW.

* Note on course availability: We refresh course offerings every year to ensure that our curriculum continually evolves and resonates for students. This catalog offers a representative sampling of courses recently offered. CSW cannot guarantee that each course listed here will be offered every year.
