CSW Winter Wilderness Trip

White Mountains, NH
The 2015 CSW Winter Wilderness Trip takes place during the February mod break, 2/6/15 - 2/9/15.

This year, CSW will venture into Zealand Notch of the White Mountains in New Hampshire for a snowshoe/cross country skiing trip. There will be two adult leaders and eight students on the trip. No experience is necessary to participate and with the exception of cross country skis, we can provide most of the gear that you will need for the trip. The cost of the trip is $130/student.

A brief description of the trip is provided below:

Thursday, 2/5 (6:00 pm), there will be a mandatory preparation and packing meeting in the CSW gym. We spend the night in the gym on Thursday and then we leave early for the mountains on Friday. Upon arrival, we snowshoe or cross country ski up to Zealand Falls Hut and spend the night. Sat-Monday, we snowshoe or cross country ski through the Zealand Notch and exit via the Pemigewassatt Wilderness trail. Monday 2/9, we arrive back on campus in the early afternoon to unpack and clean.
