Because the world is an engaging and powerful classroom, CSW each year offers students a chance to explore science, language, history and culture through off-campus experiences. Ranging from two to four weeks, the off-campus courses are designed to integrate students into the language, geography, art and history of other cultures while providing intense, hands-on academic study.
Depending on the year, CSW students may choose to research animal behavior and rain forest ecosystems in Costa Rica, immerse in Roman history and architecture in Italy or advance their language skills in France. Additional trips to Montreal and Central America offer students additional language study and cultural immersion.
Overall, the off-campus courses expand students' perspectives and deepen their understanding of global citizenship.
