Helping students gain the skills and understanding to carry fitness into their adult lives is a core part of our athletic program. With the incredible range of recreational activities here, students are sure to find one that inspires them to get active—and have fun doing it.
We take an inclusive approach, encouraging students of all abilities and skill levels to participate. They can try indoor rock climbing or hip hop dance, play soccer “just for fun,” learn to fence with instruction from nationally ranked players, or build strength and improve their cardiovascular capacity in our fully-equipped fitness room.
We also offer several different recreational athletic courses geared towards mindfulness and stress-reduction, such as Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and Tai Chi. These classes, taught by certified yoga instructors, are open to all students and incorporate meditation, mindfulness exercises, and breathing techniques.
