Annual Giving is a major source of revenue for the school’s operating budget. Every member of the CSW community is asked to support CSW’s Annual Fund, with contributions ranging from $25 to leadership gifts of $2,500 -$25,000.

Currently, tuition covers only 71 percent of the cost of educating each student, leaving a "tuition gap" of $9,600 per student. Gifts to the Annual Fund help address this gap that exists between the school’s total operating expenses and the portion covered by tuition.

Annual giving is vital to the following areas:

• Retention of Extraordinary Faculty: CSW attracts and maintains a superb faculty and remains competitive with peer schools by offering strong teacher compensation and enriching professional development opportunities.
  
• Needs-Based Tuition Assistance: CSW is dedicated to creating a vibrant and excellent community of learners that is racially, culturally, geographically and socio-economically diverse. By providing needs-based tuition assistance to 25 percent of its families, CSW remains inclusive and attracts talented students based on their capacity and commitment to learning.

Gifts to the Annual Fund are integral to the school’s ability to attract and retain the high caliber faculty and student community that makes CSW so unique.
