Why CSW Built the New Building

The building is part of the master plan that was created by Carol R. Johnson and Associates (including Ruth Loetterle P'05). The old biology building had become restrictive and outdated. The new building fortifies and enhances our science curriculum by uniting physics, chemistry and biology under one roof for the first time.

We wanted to provide our students with the best possible facilities and learning environment to prepare them for life after CSW. The space also increases our capacity for interdisciplinary study.
