Auction: Green for Green Benefit

Green for Green: the Benefit for CSW is a fundraising effort to support "green" projects on campus and features an auction benefit event on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at CSW. Proceeds support projects including:

• a major reforestation effort on campus (including the removal of invasive species and planting of native tree species that have been lost over the past several decades)
• the purchase of environmentally-friendly cleaners, fertilizers, de-icers and other products
• energy-efficiency improvements
• recycling programs

There are many ways to participate in Green for Green: the Benefit for CSW:

• Donate Items to be used for the live and silent auctions at the benefit event.
• Make a Cash Donation to help purchase an item from the Wish List or as unrestricted support for the Green for Green Benefit.
• Volunteer to solicit items, make preparations for the event, and/or help during the event.
• Attend the Green for Green Benefit on Saturday, May 9, and encourage others to come
• Participate in the Go for the Green 5k Race on Sunday, May 17. Sophie Goldsmith '09 is organizing a fundraising 5k race on campus as part of her Capstone Project. Participate by sponsoring runners or running in the race yourself.
