The Parent Council
The Parent Council is made up of volunteer parent representatives who work closely with the administration to foster communications, inform parent education programs and coordinate community-building and fundraising efforts.
The Parent Council is headed by co-chairs. The members of the Parent Council are responsible for the following:
• Counsel members of the administration on planning for parent meetings, events and communications
• Facilitate communication among parents and the faculty, administration and the Board of Trustees.
• Organize a range of social gatherings and fundraising efforts (e.g. parent coffees, potluck dinners and the Spring Benefit)
• Participate in various task forces that address issues of particular concern to the parent community.
• Welcome new parents into the CSW community and serve as a resource for new and prospective families
To meet these objectives the Parent Council meets approximately every 5 weeks.
The Parent Council seeks at all times to work cooperatively with the entire CSW community towards a common goal of excellence for the school.
The Parents’ Association
All parents become members of the Cambridge School of Weston’s Parents’ Association (PA) when their child enrolls.
