Volunteer Opportunities

The CSW Parents' Association offers volunteer activities that connect you with other parents while helping the school and the students. If you are interested in participating, please contact Michelle McLaughlin at (781) 642-8671 or mmclaughlin@csw.org.

Admissions: Duties may include contacting prospective families, participating in admissions events and giving campus tours.

Parent Council: The Parent Council is a group of volunteer parent representatives who work closely with the administration to foster communications, inform parent education programs and coordinate community-building and fundraising efforts.

Birthday for Boarders: The Birthday for Boarders program is an effort to help our boarding students feel more at home by providing gift packages for their birthdays. Volunteers procure small gifts and cards and deliver them to boarders at their dorms or the switchboard.

Faculty Appreciation: Once every module, members of the Faculty Appreciation Committee provide snacks and desserts for a faculty meeting as a demonstration of parent appreciation for teachers.

Host of Parent Socials and Gatherings: Volunteers host parent social events, such as the Parent Class Potluck Dinners and Winter Gathering, in their homes. Hosts do not need to provide food or beverages.

Library Volunteer: Help at the front desk on a weekly or bi-weekly basis or help with special projects.

Parent Fund Committee: Volunteers from each class work with the Development Office to solicit other parents for contributions to the Annual Fund.

Parent Spring Benefit: participate in organizing the Parent Spring Benefit, including soliciting businesses and individuals for item or service donations, arranging for food and entertainment, decorating, working at registration tables, and in many other capacities.
