Summer Adventures

If it’s not one thing . . .

Summer Adventures: Another kind of summer experience for campers entering grades seven through nine. Part day camp, part overnight camp, the program is designed to provide the best of both worlds – all in a small, inclusive group led by staff with experience and enthusiasm for this age group.

Every day begins and ends with an assembly on campus. In between, the road rules: a canoe trip one day, horseback riding the next, spelunking a third. Each two-week session has eight different field trips planned, so Summer Adventures campers will find variety no matter how many sessions they attend. Fridays are reserved for special, camp-wide activities. Each session includes an optional overnight at a different New England location.

The group leader and senior staff members we choose to lead the Summer Adventures know the importance of developing positive group dynamics. Their training, whether as teachers, parents or students in related fields, sets the tone for a challenging and collaborative two weeks of fun-filled adventure.

Like The Cambridge School of Weston Summer Day Camp, Summer Adventures is high energy and low pressure. Like overnight camp, it is varied and challenging. If your son or daughter is looking for another kind of summer, explore another kind of summer program: Summer Adventures!

. . . it’s another.

"Amazing. Tons of fun. A great way to spend your summer making friends and having the time of your life!"
