The athletic program at CSW cultivates students' understanding of the lifelong benefits of physical activity. Participating and competing in athletics helps students develop a healthy, competitive attitude, and gain a deeper understanding of mutual respect, collaboration and the relationship of the individual to the community. CSW offers students a wide range of athletic pursuits. Our varsity teams have recently won interscholastic championship titles, but we also offer a range of individual recreational activities such as yoga, cycling, weight training, and martial arts. The school's long-standing Wilderness Program offers extended hiking trips to the White Mountains, solo winter camping experiences and sea kayaking adventures.
Each academic year, students are required to complete three athletic credits through participation on a competitive team sport or in a combination of various recreational physical education classes or activities. Regardless of the student's athletic choice, a constant throughout the program is building good sportsmanship and teamwork, respect for one's health and well-being, and gaining self-confidence through healthy activities. |
| CSW's boys varsity soccer team, boys varsity baseball, girls and boys varsity basketball teams, and the girls and boys cross country teams have all captured championship league titles in recent years.
