We are also pleased to announce that Jacob Arons has been voted Co-Most Valuable Player (along with Nate Gruver of BU Academy) of the Mass. Bay Independent League for Ultimate Frisbee.

As was noted in Head Coach Arlo Furst's '04 nomination write-up,"Tallying more than 50 goals and 30 assists this spring, Jacob proved himself to be a huge force on CSW's Ultimate Frisbee A-team this season. While one player does not define a team's success, (and I think Jacob would be the first to admit this), his skills and determination helped our team reach great heights this year. Oftentimes, it felt like Jacob was everywhere on the field at once. His vertical leaping ability opened up our team’s deep game and his hard undercuts and nasty fakes often helped our undercut game as well. Not only did he heavily contribute to our team’s offense, but Jacob was a huge danger on defense as well - he had numerous footblocks, handblocks, and highlight-reel layout D’s this season. Jacob also has an amazing respect for spirit of the game and he fully understands the importance of this aspect of Ultimate. Whether he was on the field or on the sideline, he constantly cheered on his teammates, as well as his opponents, and he also helped in teaching our younger players how to represent our school as a team that values sportsmanship, fair play, and fun on the field and off."

Please join us in congratulating all of these players for their amazing accomplishments this spring.
