End of Mod Parent Coffee

On Friday, March 10, Courtney Allen and Julie Blazar from OUT MetroWest will offer a presentation about gender expression and gender identity at the End of Mod 5 Parent Coffee. They will discuss terminology (i.e. "what does it mean to be transgender?" and "how do I use pronouns respectfully?"), as well as the issues they see frequently among the youth they serve in local communities.

OUT MetroWest is a non-profit organization that runs eight LGBTQ youth groups each month. Courtney serves as the Director of Programs and facilitates OUT MetroWest's group for transgender and gender non-conforming high schoolers. Julie serves as the Director of Communications and Operations and previously worked at CSW for nine years.
