End-of-Mod 5 Show Goes Virtual

The End-of-Mod Show is a cherished tradition at CSW, so when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and threatened to cancel an event so many look forward to, the community rallied together to find a solution.

Throughout Mod 5, teachers from departments across the school engaged in online learning, devising new strategies for addressing course material together, but apart. Despite limited access to the tools and materials usually afforded by an in-person learning experience, CSW students were able to create an astounding array of artwork, with both visual and performative aspects. In seeing the incredible talent on display, school faculty and administrators knew they had to find a way of sharing it out to the greater community.

And so, the first-ever virtual End-of-Mod Show was born, with artwork from the following classes:

  • Collage
  • Dance Media & Technology
  • Portrait Photography
  • Video Art
  • Art of Character Animation
  • Mid East & US Civil War
  • Venus to Guerilla Girls
  • Digital Photo
  • Photo I
  • Sculptural Poetics of Everyday Objects
  • Photo 2/3
  • Global Health
  • Middle East and US Civil War
