Cross Country Season Wrap Up!

Big shout out to the Cross Country team on a great season! The CSW girls’ XC team won the MBIL league championship on November 2nd, at our newly-minted campus course. The Gryphons edged out BUA for the title with a total team score of 67 points. Suri Kautz ‘25 won the race in an inaugural record-setting time of 20:33, achieving her second consecutive league championship. Jade Cohen ‘23 finished in 4th place, Lucy Ward ‘23 (Captain) scored in 14th place, Lia Silva ‘25 finished in 19th place, and Alexa Amato ‘24 scored in 29th place. Madi Melville ‘24, Uma Shankar ‘26, and Aria Yang ‘25 rounded out the championship team.
Kautz, Cohen, and Ward were selected as MBIL season All-Stars. Kautz was also honored as MBIL league MVP for the second consecutive year.

The boys’ XC team finished 8th place overall. The top 5 team scoring places were Theo Illarionov ‘23, (Captain), 17th, Gaius McCubbin ‘25, 21st, Ptolemy Chong ‘26, 45th, Garrett Jancourtz ‘25, 50th, and Andy Yi ‘25, 53rd.
