Boston Globe: Seeing shades of gray in war on terrorism


An article in Boston Globe West on October 16, 2008 highlighted local Weston artist Linda Bond and her latest show "Pause," which in on display in The Cambridge School of Weston's Thompson Gallery.

Bond's show, on display until Nov. 6, "presents viewers with portraits mainly based on photographs from newspaper stories about the war," Globe correspondent Denise Taylor writes in her article.

"A peacekeeper holds what might be a canister of tear gas. Four men, depicted with precision, pray as their keffiyeh scarves obscure them."
