Todd Bartel, visual arts, is featured in an exhibit called “Chemical Reactions” at the Central Booking gallery in Brooklyn, N.Y.

The exhibit is the latest in a series of art and science exhibitions at the gallery, devoted primarily to the art of the book. In “Chemical Reactions,” each of the 13 artists experiment with their own chemical analysis. The exhibit, which opened earlier this month, runs through Oct. 24.

According to Maddie Rosenberg, the curator and director of Central Booking gallery, “Todd Bartel’s text-inspired form mimics his seriously playful diagramming of the chemistry of life.”

Reception for the exhibit will be held Thursday, Sept. 16 at the Central Booking gallery on 111 Front Street, Gallery 210, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A catalog of the exhibition will be available as part of the late September issue of Central Booking magazine.
