About Us

Secretary General - Miles Ogden-Powers ’18

Miles Ogden-Powers is from Manhattan, NY and has had a passion for Model UN ever since his field trip to the United Nations in middle school. He is looking forward to sharing his passion for MUN with everyone who attends the conference and can’t wait for the big day. Outside of MUN, Miles can be found leading the cross-country team, debating politics with classmates, or playing guitar.



Deputy Secretary General - Amanda Gu ’19

Amanda is from Hong Kong and has a strong passion for UN’s work since Middle School. She has been actively involved in Model UN in High School as both a delegate and a conference staffer. Amanda is honored to serve as a Deputy Secretary General and looking forward to creating an engaging experience for all delegates, moderators and staff in the coming spring. In addition to CSWMUN, Amanda is a part of the Varsity Volleyball Team and works closely with the school’s Admissions.



Chief of Staff - Namik Muduroglu ’18

Namik is from the U.K, Azerbaijan and Cyprus. He has been involved with Model U.N since he was in middle school, winning numerous awards, including best delegate of entire conference. Namik is also the president and founder of the CSW Investment Club, leading his fund into prosperity. He plans on donating a bench to the school once he graduates. Namik will be head chair for the GA and wishes all delegates a fruitful debate.

 
Under Secretary General of Public Relations - Sean Feldman ’18

Sean is from Lexington, Massachusetts and has been involved with Model UN since her Sophomore year. She is hoping that this conference will show her peers the power of student leadership and the importance of Model UN. She dances in the dance department here at school and is the goalie of the Girls Varsity Lacrosse team, as well as being a student representative on both the Curriculum and Community Service committee.



Deputy Under Secretary General of Public Relations - Andrew Gens ’18

Andrew is from Lexington, Massachusetts and has been involved with Model UN since his junior year. He is hoping that this conference will show his peers the power of student leadership and the importance of Model UN. He participates in both school sports and government, being both the Co-head of Advisory board as well as a Captain of Cross Country.



Under Secretary General of Finance - Yuyang Qiu ’18

Qiu Yuyang is from Chengdu, China and has actively participating Model UN Conference since Middle School. He has a big passion for debate, math and business. Qiu is honored to serve as a Secretary General of Finance and looking forward to creating an engaging experience for all delegates, moderators and staff in the coming spring. He will be in charge of the financial aspect of this conference, ranging from negotiating with business office and setting the budget. In addition to CSWMUN, Qiu is a currently the co-head of Curriculum Committee and member on Varsity soccer and basketball.



Deputy Under Secretary General of Finance and Facilities - Simone Henry ’18

Simone Henry is a senior at CSW. She has been doing Model UN since middle school, and is excited to pick it up again her last year of highschool. Simone is eager to work as Deputy Under Secretary of General Finance and Facilities. She is captain of CSW’s varsity field hockey team, heads a school and Waltham-wide event to benefit a local soup kitchen and hopes to eventually go into biology.



Under Secretary General of Internal Affairs - Liam Baxter-Healey ’18

Liam is a senior at CSW, from Somerville, Massachusetts, and has been involved in Model UN since his sophomore year of highschool. He hopes this conference will help his peers learn something new, provide them with the opportunity to teach, and recognize the great things high schoolers can accomplish. Liam is active in CSW’s the theatre department, plays on CSW’s Boys’ Varsity Soccer Team, plays on CSW’s Ultimate Frisbee A-Team, is the co-head of CSW’s Interfaith Club, is an alumni of the YW Boston’s Youth Leadership Initiative, and is the residing Day Student Representative on CSW’s Board of Trustees.
