Support CSW

Parent Community Engagement

We love our Parent' Community and we invite all CSW families to become involved!

The Parent Community (PC) hosts a number of events over the course of the year, including socials, fundraisers and, at the end of each Mod, a coffee reception for families to connect with one another, learn about key adolescent- and education-related issues and get to know key CSW faculty and staff. The PC also organizes birthday gifts for our boarding students, provides appreciation lunches for faculty and staff and much, much more!

Any parents or family members who would like to be involved in the PA are encouraged to contact organizers on this list, email, or reach out to Diane Stansbury, Assistant Director of Alumni/ae & Parent Engagement, at to learn more.

The Academic Office, in partnership with the College Counseling Office, invites parents of current 10th graders to an evening workshop focused on mindful academic planning. The program will focus on how CSW works with students to develop schedules and plans that honor student interests; support exploration; fulfill academic requirements; and complement the college selection process.

Learn how the Academic Program and College Counseling Office work hand-in-hand to support families in conducting a wise, fit-driven, healthy and student-centered college search, beginning in the junior year.

  • Mid-Year Parent Gathering

    Saturday February 2, 2019, 5:30 - 8 p.m.
The Garthwaite Center for Science and Art
    Community Gallery
Join us for an early evening Saturday supper. Let’s face it, as parents of high school students we rarely hear anything about school – during or after hours! Connect with your CSW peers, meet the parents of your student’s new friend or secure a carpool for the upcoming mod.  This causal dinner gives parents the opportunity to spend some time together on campus and get to know your community.

Do you love baking? Interested in donating a dessert? Contact Diane Stansbury at All desserts should feed 15 – 20 people.
