Support CSW

Parent Community Engagement

We love our Parent' Community and we invite all CSW families to become involved!

The Parent Community (PC) hosts a number of events over the course of the year, including socials, fundraisers and, at the end of each Mod, a coffee reception for families to connect with one another, learn about key adolescent- and education-related issues and get to know key CSW faculty and staff. The PC also organizes birthday gifts for our boarding students, provides appreciation lunches for faculty and staff and much, much more!

Any parents or family members who would like to be involved in the PA are encouraged to contact organizers on this list, email pa@csw.org, or reach out to Diane Stansbury, Assistant Director of Alumni/ae & Parent Engagement, at dstansbury@csw.org to learn more.

    Mindful Academic Planning Workshop
    Tuesday, January 15, 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Community Gallery, Garthwaite Center for Science and Art

The Academic and College Counseling offices are offering a "Mindful Academic Planning" workshop for 10th-grade parents at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Gallery on Tuesday, January 15.

This presentation will provide an overview of how to approach each student's academic trajectory in preparation for the college process and the specifics of when rising 11th graders will begin to actively engage in the college process.

The program will focus on how CSW works with students to develop schedules and plans that honor student interests; support exploration; fulfill academic requirements; and complement the college selection process.

The Academic and College Counseling Offices actively collaborate to support students and the academic program. This event will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend; click here for the live stream.

Current parents and guardians are invited to join us for a night of trivia and fun. Escape the doldrums of winter and enjoy a BBQ-themed dinner prepared just for you! Meet fellow parents, compete for prizes, and enjoy an evening out.

Connect with your CSW peers, meet the parents of your student’s new friend or secure a carpool for the upcoming mod.  This causal dinner gives parents the opportunity to spend some time together on campus and get to know your community.

There is a $30 per person ticket fee. We hope to see you there!
