The Girls' Varsity Basketball team faced off against a tough divisional opponent yesterday, as they welcomed Waring School to the CSW gym for a 5:00 PM game. The Gryphons fought through a difficult start to come up with a well-deserved 31-27 win. Trailing 15-12 at half, CSW scored 19 points in the second half while limiting Waring to only 8 points. Jessica Jaena '15 had a very impressive game, scoring 8 points and rebounding with regularity. She played with a dislocated finger and in pain. We were led by Chloe Knopp '14 with 10 points. Everybody that came off the bench contributed to the victory. Toyah Pass '17 provided a real spark when she came in during the second half.
