Boys' and Girls' Varsity Basketball Teams Clinch Spots in Playoffs

League playoffs for both our Girls' Varsity Basketball and Boys' Varsity Basketball teams begin next week on Tuesday, 2/11/14
 
Girls' Varsity Basketball

With 1 regular season game remaining to be played this week, our Girls' Varsity Basketball team is in fourth place in the Independent Girls Conference (IGC) and has clinched a spot in next week's league playoffs. The top six teams in the IGC participate in the playoffs with the top two teams receiving first round byes.

The quarterfinals will be played on Tuesday, 2/11/14, (time and location TBD) with the #3 seed hosting the #6 seed and the #4 seed hosting the #5 seed. The semifinals will be played on Wednesday, 2/12/14, (time and location TBD), with the #1 seed hosting the winner of the #4 vs. #5 quarterfinal and the # 2 seed hosting the winner of the #3 vs. #6 quarterfinal. The championship game is scheduled to be played on Thursday, 2/13/14 (time and location TBD), or a mutually agreeable later date, at the higher seed's home court.
 
Boys' Varsity Basketball

Our Boys' Varsity Basketball team currently stands in third place in the Mass. Bay Independent League (MBIL) Division 2, with 1 league game remaining to be played this week. They have also clinched a spot in next week's playoffs. The top four teams in the MBIL Division 2 participate in the playoffs.

The semifinals will be played on Tuesday, 2/11/14, with the #1 seed hosting the #4 seed and the # 2 seed hosting the #3 seed. The championship game is scheduled to be played on Thursday, 2/13/14 (time and location TBD), at the higher seed's home court.
