Girls' Varsity Basketball Wins Quarterfinal Playoff Game vs. Landmark

The Girls' Varsity Basketball team has had a tremendous 2013-2014 regular season. Now comes the playoffs! Yesterday, the Gryphons faced off against Landmark School for their quarterfinal game of the 2014 IGC Playoffs Tournament.
The Girls' Varsity Basketball team has had a tremendous 2013-2014 regular season. Now comes the playoffs! Yesterday, the Gryphons faced off against Landmark School for their quarterfinal game of the 2014 IGC Playoffs Tournament. This was a great playoff game that fans were lucky to see!

CSW led throughout the game but Landmark took their only lead with 
1:34 left in the second half. Lucy Perkins '15 made two crucial free throws to bring CSW within 1 point. Following a CSW defensive stop, Julia Cabrera '15 scored the go-ahead basket from a great pass by her sister Joanna Cabrera '15. After that final basket, CSW survived three different possessions and several timeouts to come away with a 34-33 win. Joanna  led the team with 9 points. Lucy, Chloe Knopp '15 and Jessica Jaena '15 dominated the boards.
