The Garthwaite Center for Science and Art will be featured in the April issue of GreenSource magazine in a story about the energy performances of green buildings across the nation.

Since its opening in 2007, the Garthwaite Center has won numerous awards for its environmental sustainability and design, including the AIA/COTE Green Building award. Last school year, the school installed 300 solar panels on the building's roof, which have generated roughly 43,000 kilowatts to date.
