The Ultimate Frisbee "A" Team played its first game of the regular season on Friday, April 11th at home versus new opponent Covenant Christian Academy. This is CCA's first year with a competitive Ultimate Frisbee team. CSW Uruk-Hai was ready to go after practicing for a full week as an "A" team squad. CSW came out of the gate firing, scoring the first few points of the game with ease and patience. CSW's competent handlers (Jason Bair '14, Jacob Arons '15, and Micah Rickles-Young '14) moved the disc around the field and played smart vertical stack offense, using their dump and swings often in the first half. CSW built a quick lead and never looked back, winning the game by a score of 15-3. Highlights of the game included strong stack cuts from Will Blumenthal '16 and Emily McCarter '14 and some very promising defense and positioning from the newer players on the team, such as Joe Hille '16 and Max Miller '16

Uruk-Hai looks to continue their dominance vs. Sharon High School's Varsity team on Wednesday, April 16th at home.
