Girls' Lacrosse Shows Huge Improvement vs. Landmark

The CSW Girls' Lacrosse team faced off against Landmark School on Thursday. The Gryphons were well-matched, and that allowed them to slow down their game and put into practice some of what they have been working on in practice. CSW's offense did an excellent job slowing down play and setting up around the arc. The throwing and catching improved enormously, and CSW's transitions down the field especially showed this growth.  Chloe Knopp '14 and Lucy Perkins '15 gained control of the majority of balls after the draw, and both of these players, along with Lena Christakis '16, scored our goals. Lucy had an especially high-scoring game, with 6 goals. The game ended 10-9, with Landmark up just one goal above CSW. The Gryphons are excited to play Landmark again in a few weeks!
