The CSW Ultimate A-team could not contain their excitement as they boarded the bus on Monday, May 19. The team was en route to Gann Academy, where they would take on the Gann team for the final time this season. The wind was causing havoc during the warm-up drills, as the CSW handlers used the Throw-and-Go drill to warm up their upwind and downwind tosses.

Once the game started, Uruk-Hai was all business. CSW opened up a quick lead of 3-1 as they used a very patient Horizontal-stack offensive plan to move the disc up and down the field, despite the strong winds. CSW's in cuts were firing on all cylinders, with cutters Kasem Kydd '14, Aidan Fitzgerald '17, and Owen McCarter '17 all making strong and decisive in cuts as well as tempting deep cuts. CSW quickly ran the table on Gann in this game, using their zone defensive scheme to trap Gann in their own endzone. As a result, CSW often caused a turnover in a place where they did not have to move the disc too far on offense. Uruk-Hai received contributions from every single member of the team in this game. Jacob Arons '15, Jason Bair '14, Will Blumenthal '16, Joe Hille '16, Liam Kaufer '16, Seung Hyun Kim '14, Max Labelle '14, Chris Macfadyen '15, Emily McCarter '14, Max Miller '16, Patrick Miller-Gamble '14, Austin Thies '16, Dexter Wadsworth '15, Noah Wass '16, and Greg Wright '14 all played significant minutes and brought immense energy and passion to the field. Gus Parks '16, who captains the B-team, also got some great playing time in the game and helped the A-team with this big win. The final score was CSW 15, Gann 4.
