Girls' Lacrosse Wins Big vs. Newman

The CSW Lacrosse team faced off against the Newman School on Monday, May 19.
The CSW Lacrosse team faced off against the Newman School on Monday, May 19. The Gryphons started out a little rough, but quickly refocused and jumped ahead of Newman, keeping the lead the whole game. CSW's excellent passing and midfield transitions showed how much their stick stills have improved throughout the season. The Gryphons gained control after almost every draw, and ended the game 15-5. CSW's goals were scored by Lena Christakis '16, Olivia Keppler '15, Ella Williams '14, Lucy Perkins '15, Chloe Knopp '14, Shira Kagan-Shafman '17, and Kate Awalt-Conley '16 scored her first goal ever! CSW also had great support from fans on the sidelines!
