Girls' Varsity Soccer Starts 2014 Season Strong

The Girls' Varsity Soccer team kicked off their competitive 2014 season with a home match against Bradford Christian Academy on Thursday, September 11.
CSW came out of the gate with energy and fire, scoring in the 20th and 24th minute. Fayona Thomas '17 scored the first goal and Emma Kapp '16 scored the second. Bradford Christian made a game of it by scoring in the 8th minute of the second half. However, CSW's defense locked down and secured the 2-1 victory to get the team off to a 1-0 start on the young season. The Gryphons had very strong performances by Sidney Ihm '17, Naomi Meiselman '16 and Lucy Perkins '15.
