Girls' JV Soccer Starts Season with a 5-0 Win

The Girls' JV Soccer team hosted Boston Trinity Academy on Friday, September 12 for their first game of the 2014 season.
The Gryphons played hard from the opening kickoff, putting together several strong attacks and keeping the ball on BTA's half of the field for the majority of the first half. The team did not let up in the second half, finishing the game on top by a score of 5-0. Shannon Pyne '18 finished the game with a hat-trick and the other two goals were scored by Emily Murdock '18 and Kaelin Wang '17. Great defense was also played on the field by Julia Siege '17l, Ying Lu '15, Dalia Lam '16, Fiona Campbell '18 and Yi-shan Bernard '18 by shutting out BTA's attack.

Great job Gryphons!! The Girls' JV team will look to improve to 2-0 on the season when they travel to Brimmer & May on September 18, for a 4:00 p.m. game.
