Girls' Varsity Soccer Edges Landmark School

The Girls' Varsity Soccer team traveled to Beverly on Friday, September 26 for a match against Landmark School.
The Gryphons earned a very impressive away victory. Naomi Meiselman '16 scored the lone goal in the game. This was the best game that CSW has played so far this season. In the first half, the Gryphons dominated play with their passing and defensive organization. In the second half, Landmark came back strong and had most of the possession for the first 20 minutes of the half.

Despite the pressure, Landmark did not threaten CSW's goal because the defensive play of the Gryphons was excellent. Naomi and Lucy Perkins '15, CSW's center backs, played great games. Andrea Bresnahan '17 and Emma Kapp '16 completed the back four and also played very strong games, constantly denying any advance near the CSW net.

The match ended with CSW securing a 1-0 victory.
