Girls'JV Soccer Victorious vs. Waring

The Girls' JV Soccer team faced off against Waring School on Thursday, October 9.
The game started out neck and neck, but CSW was able to take the lead come half time. Amazing defense was played by Ying Lu '15, Dalia Lam '16, Sylvia Minehan '17, and Fiona Campbell '18. When the ball got through them, Schuyler Hess '17 was able to keep the ball from hitting the back of then net.

On the offensive side, the girls made great passes that lead to all five goals. Emily Murdock '18 had a beautiful assist from a corner kick, Shannon Pyne '18 had a hat trick and one assist, and Kailin Wang '17 and Tina Nikolakis '16 each had one goal.

The final score was 5-3 in favor of CSW. Great job Gryphons!
