CSW Field Hockey Shuts Out Beaver Country Day

The CSW Field Hockey team hosted Beaver Country Day School on Tuesday, October 21st. 
The first half of the game was tightly-contested, with opportunities on both sides of the field. The game went into halftime with a 0-0 score. The outcome of the match was decided within the first five minutes of the second half, when Mabel Gantos '15 put CSW on the board.

Two minutes later a similar situation, as Gracie Fisher '17 fed Izzy Lewis '15 for a score. Effective defense by Sylvia Blake '17, Emma Rochon '15 and Valentine Ghaemi '18 kept Beaver from scoring, capping off a stellar team effort. The final score was CSW 2, BCD 0.
