Shark ’28 Earns Spot in Lyric Stage Playwriting Festival
Read MoreCongratulations to Shark ‘28, whose original 10-minute play Everything, Everywhere has been selected for the Lyric Stage Company of Boston 2026 First Page Playwriting Festival. Shark wrote the play during his Mod 4 “Playwriting” class at CSW and is one of just nine high school playwrights chosen for this year’s festival. -

Music Chair Gustavo Assis-Brasil Releases New Music Video
Read MoreCSW’s Music Chair Gustavo Brasil, an accomplished guitarist known for his innovative hybrid picking techniques, has released a new music video. The performance in the video (shot at CSW’s Robin Wood Theatre) features the banjo, mandolin, triangle, and “stranjo,” a five-string guitar tuned like a banjo — a hybrid instrument Gustavo has been exploring. -
Molecular Biology Class Visits Brandeis University

Students first heard directly from professors Bruce Goode and Avital Rodal about their research before stepping into the labs for hands-on demonstrations. -

Students Earn 40 Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
Read MoreA total of 10 Gold Key awards, 14 Silver Key awards, and 16 Honorable Mentions were presented to CSW students across 12 different categories, making for a total of 40 awards. Gold Key winners will go on to be considered for national awards, which are announced later in the spring. Congrats to all of our student artists and writers! -

CSW Celebrates the Re-Opening of the East Quad
Read MoreOn December 18, 2025, CSW officially opened the doors to its newly renovated East Quad Center, a mainstay of campus that dates back to the 1930s. The space, which has over the years housed a gymnasium, theater, and classrooms, will now serve as a hub for mathematics, computer science, and robotics. -

Admissions Open House
Join us for a self-paced tour of campus that allows you to focus on the departments, programs, conversations, and questions that are most important to you. Students, faculty, and administrators will be stationed along the tour route ready to answer questions and share their CSW experiences with you. -
Readathon
WHAT IS IT? The CSW Readathon is an intentional day for students who LOVE reading to come together and celebrate in that joy. For 12 hours, students will engage in all types of pleasure reading. Bring what you want to read and simply read amongst like minded peers, faculty, and staff. We simply ask that you engage in just that: reading for pleasure. Please leave homework at home. Reading can include physical books, ebooks, audiobooks, webtoons, magazines, newspapers, and more. -
Class Preview Night
Prospective students are invited to campus to get a sense of the CSW classroom and progressive teaching approach. Students have a chance to meet current faculty and staff. (Concurrent optional program for parents / guardians). -
International Family College Counseling Overview
Join us for a Zoom webinar created especially for international families. Director of College Counseling Sarah Morales will share guidance on the U.S. college admissions process, including current trends, the testing landscape, how CSW prepares students, and what helps applications stand out. This session is offered in partnership with Dean of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Lisa Palmero as part of our commitment to supporting families of all backgrounds.Live caption translation will be available on Zoom. Junior Parent College Counseling Night
Join us for insight and guidance in navigating the college search process. There will be an opportunity to meet with your student's college counselor in a group. Please consult the Junior Guidebook (published in early December) for more information. This program is highly recommended for all parents of juniors. Please note: while the opening of this event will be livestreamed, during the second half, those attending live will break out into groups and this portion will not be available online. -

End-of-Mod 3 Parent/Guardian Coffee
We invite you to join us at the end of every mod for a parent/guardian coffee. These events are occasions to both socialize and learn about what your student is up to at CSW. Each End-of-Mod Coffee will take place in the East Quad at 8:30 a.m. The speaking programs will be recorded and posted to the myCSW Parent Resource tile for those unable to attend. -

Parents and guardians are invited to join us for a scheduled Gallery Walk in the afternoon to view the End-of-Mod show. -

Join CSW parents and guardians from all grade levels for a casual evening on campus! Enjoy a night of food, drink, and good company. -
Dance Concert
Join us for the annual CSW Dance Concert and enjoy a selection of original pieces choreographed by dance faculty and students, and performed live by CSW students.
