The Gift that Keeps Giving

Building a Foundation for What Comes Next

A robust endowment provides The Cambridge School of Weston with a secure, flexible, long-term source of funding, enabling us to better address issues and achieve goals critical to the advancement and longevity of our school.

In addition to offsetting important operational expenses, capital gifts help to curb rising tuition costs, fund programs, endow faculty positions, and support campus growth.

The Endowment, Demystified

List of 8 items.

  • Bigger Isn’t Just Better — It’s More Flexible.

A larger endowment gives CSW the ability to respond quickly to new opportunities, invest in innovation, and weather economic uncertainty with confidence.
  • It Funds What Matters Most.

Endowment earnings help pay for things like financial aid, faculty support, academic innovation, and program enhancements — all core to CSW’s progressive mission.
  • It Grows Through Generosity.

Most of CSW’s endowment has been built through gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends who believe in the power of a CSW education.
  • It Helps Keep Tuition in Check.

By generating revenue each year, the endowment offsets some of CSW’s operating expenses and helps reduce the pressure on tuition increases.
  • It’s a Silent Workhorse.

The endowment might not be visible on campus like a new building, but it’s always working behind the scenes to power the things we all love about CSW.
  • It’s Built to Last.

While the school uses a portion of the endowment earnings each year (typically around 4-5%), the principal is preserved, ensuring support for future generations.
  • It’s Like a Savings Account… But Smarter.

CSW’s endowment is invested over time to grow and generate income — providing long-term financial stability and support for the school, year after year.
  • Named Funds Make a Personal Impact.

Donors can create named endowment funds to support scholarships, faculty chairs, or specific programs — turning personal passions into lasting legacies.
