Library and Technology

Our school library offers a wide variety of equitable access to resources that support our curriculum and student learning. We are dedicated to helping students feed their innate curiosities while acquiring the research and information literacy skills necessary to think broadly, creatively, and be active, engaged citizens. Additionally, we aim to help students thoughtfully navigate a world of ever-evolving content online.

Our librarians are committed to maintaining and developing a current, thoughtful, and robust collection that supports our classes and reflects the diverse interests, cultures, and backgrounds of our community. The library houses approximately 20,000 volumes, which include non-fiction and fiction texts as well as reference materials; more than 80 periodical subscriptions; a large collection of digital archives; and access to various emerging technologies that promote exploration, play, and storytelling.

Additionally, our librarians act as an extension of classroom teaching—collaborating deeply with faculty by both helping to design curriculum and open-ended projects, as well as by matching resources in support of instructional goals.

Meet Jenna Wolf, Director of Library + Technology Integration

As our library director, Jenna has an unending desire to help students discover their passions, do deep, meaningful, and well-rounded research, make things, use cutting edge technology to tell their stories, and to inspire them to develop a reading life. As a citizen of Mvskoke Creek Nation (Oklahoma), textile arts, beading, and other kinds of handiwork have always been intrinsic desires and making, a way of life. This creative output allows her to feel right at home at CSW. She cares deeply about fostering a library that asks students to explore hard questions about privilege, power, identity, and justice through their reading life.
