Recreation and Wellness

Helping students gain the skills and understanding to carry fitness into their adult lives is a core part of our athletic program. With the incredible range of recreational activities here, students are sure to find one that inspires them to get active—and have fun doing it.

We take an inclusive approach, encouraging students of all abilities and skill levels to participate. They can try hip hop dance, play volleyball “just for fun,” or build strength and improve their cardiovascular capacity in our fully-equipped fitness room.

We also offer several different recreational athletic courses geared towards mindfulness and stress-reduction, such as Vinyasa Yoga. These classes, taught by certified yoga instructors, are open to all students and incorporate meditation, mindfulness exercises, and breathing techniques.
