Girls' Varsity Soccer Take Gann Academy

Possessing the ball for a majority of the game, CSW defeated Gann Academy in a 7-2 victory.
On Monday, October 19, 2015 the CSW Girls’ Varsity Soccer team defeated Gann Academy 7-2. CSW showed their amazing passing skills in this game, which lead to them possessing the ball for a majority of the time. Most of the goals scored were well executed off of corner kicks, free kicks, crosses, or fast breaks. Andy Bresnahan '17 and Shannon Pyne '18 had two goals each, while Lizzie Bowden '18, Sidney Ihm '17, and Ellena Sakai '18 had one. The defense (Caroline Keppler '18, Emma Kapp '16, Emma Downs '18, and Maisie Smith '16) also did a great job by breaking down Landmark’s attack by catching them off sides frequently and clearing the ball out of the back. Way to get another win, Gryphons!
