In their third game of the season, the CSW Girls’ JV Basketball team had their best all-around performance yet, coming from behind to beat Chapel-Hill Chauncy-Hall 16-14. After being down 12-9 at halftime, the Gryphons held their opponent to just two points in the second half. Captain Bianca Wang ‘20 hit a game-tying three (her second consecutive game hitting a three) and that momentum carried CSW the rest of the game. The player of the game was undoubtedly Roxy Huang ‘21, who tallied six points, two assists, and several huge plays on defense. After holding off CH-CH in the final moments and hearing the buzzer, the players celebrated their victory, jumping and hugging each other. It was a well-earned moment, and one they should savor.
