Today was our third day in Cerro Punta. We had a late start to the day, as breakfast started at 9:00. After breakfast, we took three off-road trucks up to the cloud forest to find quetzals. We were able to see one female and two males. We learned to look at the tails of the quetzals to determine the sex; males have two long, thin tails, while females do not. After we were done looking at quetzals, we went to a garden where we were able to feed ducks, including a baby! On the way back from the garden, we stopped at a cafe to enjoy the view and have a quick snack. Once we returned to the hotel, some of us stayed back and played ping pong and chess, while others hiked up a hill to enjoy the view as well. After dinner, we all hung out in the game room and watched a movie.
