Girls' LAX wins season opener on the road at Newman Prep

On Tuesday, CSW Girls' Lacrosse traveled to Newman for the first game of the season. The first 10 minutes were typical of the first game with CSW looking to establish a rhythm.  After some sloppy play the Gyrphons got down to business and moved the ball offensively and in transition to dominate time of possession and score on multiple chances.  Led offensively by Alaina Hauber '20 with seven goals and solid center play on the draw creating offensive opportunities for teammates, Emma Sullivan '19 produced four goals and solid stick play in the offensive end. In the midfield Addie Santello '19 was all over the field offensively helping to keep plays alive and defensively getting in passing lanes stopping scoring chances. CSW was able to involve multiple players throughout the game and started the season off strong with an 18-0 victory
