CSW Welcomes New Faculty & Staff

The Cambridge School of Weston is delighted to welcome several new members to our team this fall. We look forward to the many ways they will enrich our community. Please join us in giving them a warm CSW welcome.
Tessa Barry is excited to be joining the Theatre Department as the new technical theatre director. She is a scenic designer, scenic artist, and art educator working out of the Greater Boston Area. She studied studio art at Endicott College and completed her master’s in fine arts at Boston University in scenic design. Outside of the classroom, she is caught either going to see live theatre, making something ridiculous, or overthinking her Survivor fantasy league picks.

Paul Capobianco taught in the History Department at CSW during Mods 4 and 6 in 2025, and he's thrilled to return to work with students over three mods for the 2025-2026 school year. Paul's professional experience includes 20+ years of working in law, politics, and educational publishing. He began teaching middle school social studies in 2013, building a successful middle school program at Atrium School in Watertown. When he’s not doing yoga, he’s tending to his gardens at home in Dedham, and spending time with his loving wife, Karen, and their excitable dog, Nalu. Paul’s son, Max Lindsay-Capobianco, graduated from CSW in 2019, and he’s awesome!

Zeke Cohen attended Cornell University where he studied information science and was on the track and field team. After college, he worked for an education technology company as a software engineer. He currently lives at the Brooks School in North Andover with his partner and their husky named Kyber. He loves cooking, traveling, board games, and anything that gets him outdoors!

She holds a Ph.D. in English & American literature from Boston University and has taught in a wide range of educational contexts, from summer college prep programs to boarding schools to college writing programs to research institutes. CSW feels like her most exciting teaching opportunity yet!

Laurel Grady comes to CSW from St. John's Prep, where she was the assistant director of auxiliary programs with a focus on their 6,000-campers-a-summer summer camp program.  She has also worked at Buckingham Browne and Nicholas School (BB&N) and Brooks, as well as a host of residential camps.  Laurel also taught preschool for 10 years in a play-based program, and ran college and university housing programs prior to that.  In her spare time, she is newly an empty nester, and plans to do some travel with her husband Bob, catch up on years of unfinished craft projects, and transplant all of her long-suffering plants.

She is the founder of Jeff’s Place Children’s Bereavement Center in Framingham, MA. Additionally, she is the founding clinical director at Experience Camps, which provides a weeklong overnight camp for bereaved youth across the United States. She has always enjoyed working with youth and their families, and strongly believes that the expert on one’s grief is the one who is grieving. Her overall goal as a therapist is to sit alongside her clients, bear witness to their stories, and encourage her clients to “sit in the mud” with their feelings. She believes that one can foster healing through connection and vulnerability. You can learn more about her approach and experience in her TED talk.
