CSW is delighted to welcome Noah Loren P'22'24 as our new Chair of the Board of Trustees.
When Noah Loren and his wife Rebecca Loren P’22,’24 first began searching for a high school for their daughter, they cast a wide net. The Cambridge School of Weston was already familiar — two of Noah’s nieces were enrolled at the time — but the family approached the process with fresh eyes. “We wanted to be as unbiased as possible,” Noah recalls. “We went to the information sessions, visited the campus, and really paid attention to the details.”
It was during the accepted families Revisit Day that their decision became clear. Noah still remembers sitting in the presentation led by CSW’s department heads. “We were absolutely blown away by the passion of the teachers and the way they spoke about their subjects and their students. We walked out of there and knew CSW was the right fit.”
Both of Noah’s children would eventually choose CSW, drawn to the immersive, focused approach to classes. And when they were here, they thrived, having experiences that proved to be incredibly formative.
“They each came into their own, found their people, and discovered passions that continue to shape them today,” Noah reflects. His daughter, Sarah ’22, is now a senior studying biology at the University of Rochester, and his son Bram ’24 studies engineering at Case Western Reserve University, where he competes on a national Baja racing team.
“The school was such a terrific experience for both of our kids, I am excited by this opportunity to give back, and help lead the board and the school into the future,” Noah says.
Noah’s connection to CSW is a family affair. His brother, Adam Loren and sister-in-law Jackie Loren P’20,’20,’24, sent all three of their children to the CSW and have been deeply engaged supporters over the years. For Noah, having nieces and nephews share the CSW experience alongside his own children made the community feel even more like home. “It was special to see our kids overlap as classmates,” he reflects. “There was this wonderful sense of shared experience, both for the students and for us as parents.”
A mechanical engineer by training, with a master’s in management, Noah has spent his career leading product development and operations teams in industries ranging from automotive to physical security. He brings that same data-driven, methodical approach to his work as a trustee, and now as chair of CSW’s Board.
Looking ahead, Noah is focused on continuing the strong foundation built under outgoing Chair Ann Gorson P’16. His priorities include financial sustainability, attracting mission-aligned students, and strengthening CSW’s partnership with the local community. He is also eager to support CSW administrators, faculty, and Head of School Lise Charlier, whom he describes as having “a boundless energy for everything to do with the school.”
Whenever he comes to campus, Noah feels a sense of pride for the CSW Community and everything it stands for. “At CSW, you see kids who are comfortable in their own skin, who are learning not just academics but who they are. That’s a leg up my own high school experience didn’t give me. To witness a new generation growing up with that kind of confidence and critical thinking is incredibly rewarding.”
For Noah, stepping into this role isn’t just about governance. It’s about stewardship of a community he deeply values. “This is my way of helping ensure that CSW continues to flourish, for the next generation of students who deserve what my kids had.”
