At CSW, building strong relationships and fostering open, candid communication across our community is fundamental to everything we do. As virtual gatherings, webinars, and parent conferences remain an important way for us to connect, protecting the privacy and trust of our participants in these digital spaces is essential.
To preserve an open, respectful, and privacy-focused environment during all online school events, CSW has refreshed its policy regarding virtual meetings, parent conferences, and the use of AI-assisted recording software.
Please take a moment to review the full policy below prior to attending upcoming virtual sessions:
CSW values our sense of community and relationships. Massachusetts law requires that all parties to an in-person conversation, meeting, or parent conference give consent before it can be recorded. CSW reserves rights to record our events; participation in virtual meetings is deemed consent to record by the participant. In addition, the school declines permission for attendees to virtual events to record online conversations, meetings, webinars, or parent conferences using AI-assisted technology. This includes the use of AI assistants and note-takers.

We have made a schedule modification for mod 6 so it mirrors mod 1: a schedule that prioritizes academic and community time, as well as our PACE programming. Wednesdays will always run on a Wednesday schedule, which keeps Assembly and Advisory time, bus times, D-block and faculty meeting times, but adds one extra academic block from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on those three Wednesdays when it is a four-day week. These updates are live in MyCSW.
