Dr. Deborah Offner, a clinical psychologist who has worked with adolescents, families, and independent schools for 25 years, will share her thoughts about Generation Z, high school, and family life. She will offer a contemporary developmental perspective along with reflections about the demands and stresses today's students -- and their parents and caregivers -- face.

Dr. Offner will include practical advice about how to support success without exerting too much pressure, how to distinguish between the "normal" ups and downs of adolescence and a problem that may require professional help, and most importantly, how to stay connected with your teenager. There will be time for Q&A following the presentation.
