This meeting will feature Don Bagnall, Fmr. Director of Medical Services and Head Athletic Trainer for Sports Medicine at Hopkins School and Gabby Callagy, PT, DPT CSCS, Founder, The Run Rx discussing “Healthy Athletes: A Balanced Approach to Sports and Injury Prevention.” Recently added to this amazing lineup, PIN's own Jane Glazer, MA, MSN, CPNP, FNP-BC will be discussing topics pertaining to nutrition for healthy athletes.
Don Bagnall was Director of Medical Services and Head Athletic Trainer for Sports Medicine at Hopkins School in New Haven, CT for 41 years. Don has earned many honors throughout his career. As an Olympic Committee Sports Medicine Division Volunteer, he has worked at all three U.S. Olympic training centers. He has acted as clinical supervisor for SCSU and Quinnipiac University and has served on numerous professional athletic training and sports medicine committees at the state, district, and national levels. Don has also served as liaison to the Academy of Pediatrics Council on Sports Medicine & Fitness. He graduated from Bridgewater State University in 1981 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education with an Athletic Training concentration. Don is also a prolific long-distance runner with several marathons under his belt. 
Founder of The Run RX, Gabby is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and expert in gait analysis and athletic performance. She holds specialty certifications as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Clinical Exercise Physiologist and Pre & Postnatal Exercise Specialist. She has a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire and graduated from the University of New England with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016. She has specialized in treating runners in the Boston area including 3 years at the Spaulding National Running Center.
Jane Glazer, MA, MSN, CPNP, FNP-BC is a dual board certified nurse practitioner in pediatrics and family medicine. She has held a variety of clinical and educator roles ranging from pediatric emergency medicine, camp health, college health, urgent care,  travel medicine, adolescent sexual health, and is currently working in various fields through telemedicine. Jane is passionate about all types of health education and youth athletes hold a spot near and dear to her heart. She is a lifelong runner, avid athlete and adventurer, who lives in Brookline with her physician husband and two athelete children.
