The Wilderness Trip program will run its first Micro Trip of the year - an introductory outdoor rock climbing trip in Rumney, New Hampshire - from Saturday, October 27 to Sunday, October 28! A signup email will go out to the CSW community this week.
We will camp near the climbing area on Saturday night - food will be provided and we can loan most camping gear as well as all climbing equipment. No climbing experience is necessary to participate in this trip.
Micro trips are always free to students (and adults), and no experience is required to participate. Students who participate in two Micro Trips in one school year receive one half athletic credit.
CSW—a gender-inclusive day and boarding school for grades 9-12—is a national leader in progressive education. We live out our values of inquiry-based learning, student agency, and embracing diverse perspectives in every aspect of our student experience. Young people come to CSW to learn how to learn and then put what they learn into action—essential skills they carry into their futures as doers, makers, innovators, leaders, and exceptional humans who do meaningful work in the world.
