"Venus to Guerrilla" Girls Class Meets with Dutch Artist Samantha Thole

Dutch artist Samantha Thole paid a virtual visit to Alison's "Venus to Guerilla Girls" class. Samantha shared her love for archaeology, and the specific research she has put into historical ceramic imagery of the female body. She also showed students her own work which was in a show of Cypriot work at the Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, Netherland.

The students had a chance to ask questions about her work, how an artist places theory (or doesn't) in their studio practice, and what it is like to live on a boat!
