Nicholas '28 Competes in Ultimate National Championships

This summer, CSW student-athlete Nicholas Palmer '28 had an impressive run as a member of the elite youth ultimate frisbee team, the Boston Ultimate Disc Alliance (BUDA).
Nicholas earned a spot on BUDA’s Under-17 Boys’ Club Team, and played alongside the top players from across Massachusetts. The team was able to secure a spot to compete in the USA Ultimate Youth Club National Championships in Denver, Colorado. For the first time in program’s history, the team advanced to the national finals, falling short to a strong Oakland, CA team in a close match.

Nicholas found his passion for ultimate frisbee after joining the CSW team this past spring. Inspired by his experience, he now has his sights set on trying out for the U.S. World Junior Team before graduating.
Maddy Khanna'28, another standout player from CSW, was selected for BUDA’s Under-20 Women’s Team, which also competed in the national tournament and secured a strong 9th place finish in their division.
