Visiting a Strawberry Farm at Chiriquí

Hola!

Today was our first full day in Cerro Punta. We started our morning with a great breakfast in the hotel. Chiriquí (the province we are staying in) is a hotspot for agroturism, which we participated in by visiting a strawberry farm. We learned about the process and products of the strawberry farm, and took a short walk to a beautiful mountain view. Next, we tried some local strawberries and cream and then headed to a nearby restaurant for a Panamanian lunch. After lunch, we rested and explored the town. We walked around the property, enjoying the water features and large garden. People caught up on work, and played a game of capture the flag (flip-flop). After a nice dinner at the hotel, we played games in the common room, like chess, ping pong and uno. Looking forward to tomorrow!
